Geomagic Studio is our flagship software technology that delivers fast, accurate and automated creation of 3D CAD models from scan data. Geomagic Studio is the industry’s best-in-class technology that enables direct, integrated exchange of 3D data into major MCAD systems as well as exchange of neutral 3D data formats to meet just about every need and requirement for downstream use of the data. Geomagic Studio is used by every major manufacturing industry including aerospace, automotive, electronics, consumer products, large machinery, and medical, as well as entertainment, art and archeological archive industries.
Geomagic Studio is used by a wide variety of people including: CAD engineers, production engineers, quality assurance officers and inspectors, industrial and product designers, and more. In the Trial version, you may only save files in the Geomagic native file format (.wrp). Otherwise the software is fully functional. If you want file saving options, please contact your Geomagic Sales contact to request an Evaluation license which will enable other file saving options.
Geomagic and its Training Partners offer comprehensive classroom and on-site training courses geared to allowing customers to quickly gain the skills needed for our software. Customers can also have hands-on training on the shop floor from our world-class trainers – a program which can be invaluable during a critical project or implementation. Geomagic offers online, web-based support for all customers, and telephone support exclusive to customers on a Maintenance contract. Online support includes access to the Technical Support Knowledge base, online tutorial videos, and links to other useful articles. Telephone support is available in the U.S., Europe and Asia during normal working hours. (for example, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern time in the US.) and is exclusive to customers on Maintenance contracts only.
There is a wide variety of 3D scanners on the market which enable you to create 3D point cloud and scan data. Geomagic is partnered with just about all of the industry’s scanner vendors. Visit our Hardware partner page to view Scanner vendors. Alternatively, you can use a Service Bureau to assist you with expert scanning services.
Yes. Geomagic offers free 30-day trials of all its software. Simply select ‘Free Trial’, register for the software, verify your email and you will be able to use our software for 30 days at no charge.
