MakumDatum

MakumDatum is a standalone program which provides drag-and-drop automation for creating datum points in Geomagic Studio and Geomagic Qualify from a user-provided CSV file. After establishing communication with Geomagic products via COM server, any CSV file dragged onto the MakumDatum icon will appear in Geomagic as datum points.

Application Notes

  • This utility requires Geomagic COM Server 9 or higher. Geomagic COM Server can be installed from the Geomagic Studio or Geomagic Qualify CD or downloaded from the Geomagic Support page.
  • MakumDatum works with Geomagic Studio and Geomagic Qualify versions 10 or later.
  • Registration is required to access files. Geomagic may send you product updates from time to time. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Setup

  1. Unzip contents of zip file to a directory.
  2. Launch MakumDatum.exe.
  3. Go to Tools > Options and configure directories and settings.
  4. Close MakumDatum.
  5. To learn about the workflow, please refer to the Readme file included with the downloaded zip file.
