Application Notes
The objective of this Technology Preview is to assess the demand for Dental CAD/CAM functionality, and to establish real-world validation of the functionality in the Add-On. This project will be subject to change and/or withdrawal from Geomagic Labs without notice.
- This add-on enables copings and bridge frameworks to be designed directly from intra-oral scans, 3D scans of dental impressions, and CBCT scans. It also includes other dental functionality for copings and frameworks.
- Use this add-on to create single unit and bridge cases.
- Copings and Frameworks Add-on requires Version 11 of Geomagic Studio or Geomagic Wrap. If you already have the latest Geomagic Studio, download the Copings and Frameworks Add-on and install it.
- If you require an evaluation license of Geomagic Studio or Geomagic Wrap, please e-mail dentalinfo@geomagic.com.
- The Copings and Frameworks Add-On has recently been updated. If you downloaded the add-on prior to June 24, 2009, we recommend that you download and reinstall the updated version.
- Works with windows XP and Vista 32-bit.
- Registration is required to access files. Geomagic may send you product updates from time to time. You may unsubscribe at any time.

- The installer adds a new Dental menu item to the Geomagic Studio menubar.

Importer for 3Shape PTA Data
- Geomagic has created an importer that allows you to load PTA data from the 3Shape scanner system into Geomagic Studio and Geomagic Qualify.
- Tested on Windows XP and Vista 32-bit.
