Parametric Exchange for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3 connects Geomagic Studio and CAD to enable automatic reconstruction of geometry from scan data. The feature reduces product development time by enabling seamless transfer of parametric surfaces, solids, datums and curves from Geomagic Studio to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3 without the need for intermediate neutral files such as IGES or STEP.

  • Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire V3 must be installed on same computer as Geomagic Studio 12.
  • Parametric Exchange requires Geomagic Studio 12 with active Geomagic Wrap or Geomagic Fashion license.

Setup

  1. Download the file.
  2. Install the plugin by double-clicking the downloaded file.
  3. Start Geomagic Studio 12.
