DICOM Importer

Technology Preview

DICOM Importer is an add-on to Geomagic Studio and Geomagic Qualify which enables the import of CBCT DICOM data. Use DICOM Importer to create a polygon mesh (STL) for 3D printing, rapid prototyping or modeling in Geomagic Studio. You can also perform measurements, 3D inspections or metrology control of internal and external surfaces using Geomagic Qualify.

Application Notes

  • Imports standard DICOM files.
  • DICOM Importer requires version 12 or 2012 of Geomagic products.
  • Tested on Microsoft Windows 7 and XP, 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
  • DICOM Importer can only open standard DICOM files and does not support other formats.
  • If you require an evaluation license of Geomagic Qualify or Geomagic Studio, please e-mail labs@geomagic.com.
