Geomagic Studio Class

Course ID: TR-ST-EU
Level: Fundamentals
Duration: 3 day instructor-led course
Cost: $2400 (US) per person

Overview

This three-day instructor-led course covers the concept of using Digital Shape Sampling and Processing (DSSP) with Geomagic Studio. The user will learn how to interact with the application, edit point cloud data, generate and edit STL models and generate NURBS surfaces for downstream applications.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for new users to Geomagic Studio who are responsible for creating STL and/or NURBS surfaces that are exact representations of scan parts.

What will I learn?

After completing the course, users will be able to:
+ Edit point cloud scan data
+ Edit STL data
+ Create water-tight STL models for rapid prototyping
+ Perform advance STL techniques, such as sharpening
+ Define and construct patch layouts and NURBS surfaces
+ Export data for downstream applications
